The Employer’s Excellence Awards ceremony in Liverpool on June 13 will honour the best employers in Britain, including industry leaders and groups with excellent workplace practices.
Organisers of the ceremony have released a shortlist of businesses and leaders nominated for awards.
Public nominations ended in early April, with notable contenders like Liverpool Football Club, Standard Chartered, and EA Sports.
Nineteen categories recognise commitment to the environment, diversity, and innovation.
Each nominated company has pledged to support staff well-being and career advancement.
The awards highlight not only employers but also the individuals driving innovation and excellence in the workplace.
Jessica Hughes of the Employer’s Excellence Awards said: ‘We are incredibly proud to be recognising and celebrating the organisations, companies and individuals who consistently work to advocate and promote best practice in the workplace.
‘It is an incredibly exciting mix of some of the UK’s most recognisable names as well as the SMEs who are demonstrating a commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
‘The Employer’s Excellence Awards will be an important moment to shine a light on the success stories from employers up and down the country, and all of our nominees are incredibly deserving.
Editor-in-chief of Metro, Deborah Arthurs, said: ‘This is an incredible shortlist highlighting some of the very best businesses and employment practices in the UK. It is a remarkable achievement to be shortlisted.
‘I am delighted that Metro is partnering with this event, and I look forward to celebrating with all of the nominees and our host, Vernon Kay, on June 13.’
